Why Jace keeps logging you out

How long a Jace sign-in lasts, why you get signed out, and what to do when the sign-in page loops or opens the wrong inbox.

Jace signs you out after 24 hours without using it, and every session ends 30 days after you signed in, even if you use Jace daily. If you open Jace most days, you should only need to sign in again about once a month. Sign-ins more often than that come from one of the causes below.

How long a sign-in lasts

While you use Jace, your session renews itself in the background. If the app sits unused for 24 hours, the session expires and the next visit shows the sign-in page. Separately, no session lasts longer than 30 days from the moment you signed in, so a monthly sign-in is expected. These limits come from a security review of how long a stolen session could stay valid.

Before late October 2026, every session ended exactly 24 hours after sign-in, active or not, so people who signed in each morning were signed out at the same time the next day. That changed in October 2026, and sessions now renew while you're active.

Other reasons you get signed out

A mailbox was disconnected. When Google or Microsoft revokes Jace's access to an inbox, for example after a password change, Jace also ends your app session. Sign in again with that email account. Jace account disconnected has the details.

Cookies are cleared or blocked. Jace keeps your session in browser cookies for jace.ai. Private windows, "clear cookies on exit" settings and some privacy extensions remove them, which signs you out every time. Allow cookies for jace.ai and app.jace.ai.

You signed in with a different account. The sign-in page opens whichever Google or Microsoft account you pick. If you choose another address than the one you use for Jace, you land in a new, empty account or see the wrong inbox. Sign out and choose the address your subscription is on.

The sign-in page loops

If you sign in and come straight back to the sign-in page:

  1. Check the consent screen. With Google, every permission box has to be ticked, or Jace shows Google permissions are missing and lists them.
  2. If you use Microsoft 365 at work and see Your organization requires admin approval to use this application, your IT admin has to approve Jace once. Microsoft's guide for admins is Grant tenant-wide admin consent.
  3. Try a private window with extensions off. If that works, an extension or cookie setting is the cause.

If none of that helps, email support@jace.ai with the address you sign in with and the time it happened, so the team can look at that sign-in.

On your phone

Jace runs in the browser at app.jace.ai, and the same session rules apply there. Your drafts also appear in the Gmail or Outlook app, so you can review and send them without signing in to Jace. More in Mobile.
