1. Extension Functionality
The Jace Gmail Extension's sole function is to add interface buttons to Gmail that create direct links to Jace.ai. Specifically, it:
- Only reads the current email "thread ID" to generate a link to Jace.ai
- Does not access or store your email body text or attachments
- Does not modify or interact with email data outside of reading the thread ID
- Does not communicate with any server except for opening Jace.ai URLs in a new tab
Important:
When you click a Jace button, the thread ID is appended to the Jace.ai URL (e.g.,https://app.jace.ai/extensions/gmail-thread/{threadId}). Our extension does not store or retain the thread ID beyond generating this link. All further processing is handled by Jace.ai's service.
2. Data Transmission & Use
- Thread ID Transmission: The thread ID is passed to Jace.ai only at the moment you click a Jace button. We do not otherwise transmit or store your Gmail data.
- No Storage: We do not log, store, or maintain any copy of your thread IDs.
- Jace.ai Handling: If you have an account with Jace.ai or use their service, please refer to Jace.ai's own Privacy Policy to understand how they handle data once you visit their website.
