Overview
Jace runs on top of Outlook (Microsoft 365 and Outlook.com). When you connect your account, we keep mail and key settings in sync so you can continue working in Jace without losing your existing workflow.
Related:
What syncs
- Folders & categories: Your existing Outlook folders and categories are imported and kept in sync. Manage labels in Settings → Labels — open in app.
- Send‑as & signature: We sync your default from address. Paste your Outlook signature in Settings → Signature & time zone — open in app so drafts match what you send from Outlook.
- Contacts & names: We pull names from your Outlook contacts so people appear as expected in Jace.
Notes:
- Folder moves and category edits in Outlook are reflected in Jace; applying/removing categories on threads syncs near‑instantly.
- If you update your time zone in Outlook, refresh it in Jace from Settings → Signature & time zone so drafts stay aligned.
Rules and inbox behavior
- Existing Outlook rules continue to run in Outlook. Their results (categories, folder moves, archiving, etc.) are reflected in Jace after sync.
- Jace provides default views (Needs reply, Waiting, FYI, Promotions) to help you triage. Adjust views in Settings → Sidebar — open in app.
Drafts and replies
When you request a draft, Jace creates/updates an Outlook draft for you to review and send. Drafts you create in Jace appear in both Jace and Outlook, and edits in either place stay in sync. For follow‑ups, Jace can prepare a draft after a delay if you enable that workflow.
